Dear Parents,
We are looking forward to getting to know your child(ren)! Kids Come First is an after-school care program committed to providing children with a safe and fun learning environment! Our educators plan activities using FLIGHT: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework Curriculum, ensuring to incorporate the children’s interests and play based goals daily.
Our hours of operation are 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
PD Days are $30 cash or e-transfer if you wish to sign up
Drop off/Pick Up:
When dropping off your child in the morning please bring them to the door and ring the doorbell. An educator will greet you and sign your child in. After school your child will come directly from their classroom, to the program. When picking them up please ring the bell or call the program directly and an educator will get them ready and bring them to the door to meet you. A late fee of $1/minute will be charged if you arrive after 6pm. If your child will be absent, please call and inform your program directly. (See direct phone numbers for each location below)
Fees:
Fees are due on the 1st of each month and will automatically be withdrawn from your account. Please ensure you have submitted your PAD (Pre-authorized debit) form and void cheque prior to starting the program. Alternatively, you can pay cash due on the 1st of each month. A late fee will apply if payment is not submitted by the 1st. Subsidy is also available through the Alberta Government https://www.alberta.ca/child-care-subsidy.aspx
What to bring:
Children need indoor shoes which can be stored at the program. Please send you child daily with snacks, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothes to play outside. If your child requires emergency medication, please provide it along with a medical release form prior to your child starting.
Withdrawal
Two months written notice on the first of the month is required to withdraw your child from the program
